Well I screwed that up very nicely.  I entered my thoughts in what the blog is about.  So that really was the first entry.  What kinds of things do football fans want to say??  Okay never mind I fixed it.  Here on my initial thoughts.

I am amazed at the inconsistency that pass interference is called in the league.  Some plays look like definite pass interference but nothing is called and then you have the plays where a DB puts his hand on the WR and a flag is thrown.  I can say that in watching every Atlanta Falcons game this year this was most apparent and I am sure that it is true with all other teams.

You can't say that officials look at it differently because it happens in the same game with the same officials seeing both plays.  Oh well, I don't like the rules that allow the WR to push off and use their hands but the DB can't.  The NFL should go back to the previous rules for pass interference.  I know it was changed to add more offense and scoring but it has gone too far to help the WR.  Let's allow some contact and let's be consistent.  My thoughts.

Oops!

I noticed the same thing in the Green Bay Packers games this season. I agree, allow some contact and be consistent.

Oops!

I have often wondered how difficult it would be to do the 10 yard chains with a laser that could go to the other stick across the field and it would be easy to determine a first down.  Those things seem so ancient with tape on them and how ofen are they checked for accuracy.

Why isn't there a camera right on the goal line?  You see a replay and the camera is at an odd angle that doesn't show you anything.  If you are going to have a camera in the area put it on the goal line please.

I agree. I buy what you're saying.
